FRIDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER between 5-7pm

DOWNLOAD PLAN HERE

Approximately 12 months ago the club held a member’s design workshop with Lightwave International Architectural Services to review some preliminary concepts for the provision of a new staged building master plan to meet the future requirements of the Cudgen Headlands SLSC. The outcome of this workshop was that the Architect then prepared some schematic sketches and a draft floor plan for further consideration which has been on display within the club for the last 7mths”.

It is proposed that the master plan will focus on refurbishing the club premises to accommodate the club’s growth, extend the services provided to its members, freshen up the appeal of the club and assist with incorporating additional facilities to enhance potential future revenue activities.

“Between 5-7.00pm on Friday night 8 September, the plans will be again on display and members will be provided with an opportunity to make any final comments before they are finalised and packaged up for submission to council.”

If you have seen some great ideas at other clubs, have some ideas of how our club could be better configured or would like to see some extra features introduced this is your final opportunity to have some input. The wider representation that we get from the club’s various interest groups, the better the outcome of the design process, so please come along and be part of the initial phase of the development process.

Depending on the proposed design and costed estimate for each stage of development it is anticipated that some elements of the works will be undertaken within the next 12mths, the rest of the planned future redevelopment will be undertaken within the next three to five years when funding becomes available.

Yours in Surf Lifesaving
