For Existing Members – how to make a Family Group
SLSA has initiated “Family Groups” to allow for bulk management of data and for renewing the membership of all members of a “Family Group” in one transaction.
A “Family Group” can be created if all members that you wish to join to the group are already existing members of Cudgen Headland SLSC. The “Primary” member (Mum/Dad/Carer) first creates a Portal account then applies to create a family group. Once the group has been approved by the club the primary member can join family members to it.

ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHERS
During the registration process you will be able to use an Active Kids Voucher to reduce your child’s membership fee – please go to their website first to collect your voucher BY CLICKING HERE. Instructions for using the voucher are in the link below

NIPPER FEES FOR THE 2023/2024 SEASON:
MEMBERS:
U6’s – U7’s: $115 or $65 if redeeming an Active Kids Voucher
U8’s – U14’s: $210 or $160 if redeeming an Active Kids Voucher
Nippers Family 3 or more Children: each Nipper receives a 15% discount, please contact the Registrar for payment details
(Please note this does not include parents registration fee)
Parents: $19 Active Associate Membership
Please note that as part of your registration fees all new Nippers will receive a Club pink rashie and a $25 voucher for merchandise (valid until 31 December 2023).
It is essential that at least one parent per family join as an Active Associate member which entitles you to use of club facilities, life saving award training, insurance cover for all approved surf life saving activities and entitles you to receive 5% discount on food and beverages in our Club. Parents are not allowed to assist or participate without Insurance so we encourage you to join, and join the fun!

AGE GROUPS FOR 2023/2024 SEASON
Age groups are determined as follows: EG: if you child is 8yrs old on the 30th September he/she will go into the Under 9 age group
NOTE: A child may join as soon as they turn five years of age. We cannot accept membership of a child until they have reached the age of five years to comply with insurance requirements. A child who reaches five years of age after 30th September may join nippers at that time for the remainder of the season; however, this child will be required to stay in the U6 nippers age group again the following season.
Proof of age/birth certificate/passport must be sighted by the administration office for all new children joining. A child may join as soon as he/she turns five years of age.
U14 Date of Birth falls between 1st Oct 2009 & 30th Sep 2010
U13 Date of Birth falls between 1st Oct 2010 & 30th Sep 2011
U12 Date of Birth falls between 1st Oct 2011 & 30th Sep 2012
U11 Date of Birth falls between 1st Oct 2012 & 30th Sep 2013
U10 Date of Birth falls between 1st Oct 2013 & 30th Sep 2014
U9 Date of Birth falls between 1st Oct 2014 & 30th Sep 2015
U8 Date of Birth falls between 1st Oct 2015 & 30th Sep 2016
U7 Date of Birth falls between 1st Oct 2016 & 30th Sep 2017
U6 Date of Birth falls between 1st Oct 2017 & 30th Sept 2018

POOL PROFICIENCY will be held at KINGSCLIFF POOL :-
– SATURDAY 9TH SEPTEMBER 2023 – 10:00AM TO 12:00PM
– SATURDAY 16TH SEPTEMBER 2023 – 10:00AM TO 12:00PM
OCEAN PROFICIENCY will be held at the CLUB – DATE TO BE CONFIRMED
All nippers need to complete a pool proficiency swim prior to commencing nippers in the ocean.
Members can also download the Pool Proficiency Form below and have it signed off by a qualified assessor at any of our local pools. Also note that this can be filled out during any squad or organised swim session that children may already be attending.
Note: Under 6 & Under 7
All Nippers will be provided with a long sleeve high visibility rashie and all new Nippers will also receive an age group coloured cap – this is included in their fees.
Under 8’s to Under 14
All Nippers will be provided with high visibility rash vest and all new Nippers will also receive an age group coloured cap – this is included in their fees. Nippers will also need a club cap & swimwear for competition.
The Club Uniform shop will be open on Pool Proficiency Days.
The Uniform shop is open early most Sunday Mornings at the start of the season so parents can collect the apparel they have ordered online – or by arrangement during the week – please contact merchandise@cudgenslsc.org.au to organise early collection or try on sizes etc

On the Nippers Registration help days you will be required to bring the following with you so the paperwork can be finalised before activities start:
- Completed pool proficiency form – signed by qualified assessor (refer to the form)
- Proof of identification for new nippers (birth certificate, passport etc) – this is a once off requirement for new members only
- A copy of your receipt for payment of joining fees (online joining process can take payments by credit card)
